北京，二十世紀末，「冬」和「春」是從中學就在一起的情侶，雙雙自藝術學院畢業後，順理成章留在學校任職，而後結婚。過於平淡的日子，一直到春懷孕了，看似平靜無波的生活，終掀起始料未及的變化。王小帥首部長片，被視為中國導演「第六代」的代表作，他以簡鍊卻俐落的電影語言，講述一段平凡而令人感同身受的愛情故事。

It is filmmaker Wang's 1993 directorial debut. Filmed entirely in black-and-white, it follows the life of Dong and Chun, a couple who have recently graduated from Beijing Art Institute. Living meagerly in the hope of making money off their works, they begin to develop different ideas about their future.…
