【焦點導演：洛伊安德森 Director In Focus: Roy Andersson】
1970年從瑞典電影學院畢業後，隨即推出叫好叫座的《瑞典愛情故事》，大獲成功，一舉成為瑞典影壇最受矚目的新銳。隔了五年，他推出新作《旅店怪咖》，大膽嘗試新風格，但評論與票房皆不討好，使得他暫別影壇將近二十五年。後轉進廣告界，盡情揮灑影像創意。終於在2000年推出《二樓傳來的歌聲》，驚豔國際，獲得坎城影展評審團大獎。他的作品，場景幾乎全為室內搭景，且鏡頭固定不動，一鏡一景的拍攝手法也讓他在電腦特效當道的年代中，更成為獨一無二的風格家。每部電影皆費時費力精雕細琢，從影近四十年拍了約五百部廣告，卻只推出四部電影長片，目前正在拍攝最新長片。
Fresh out of Swedish film institute, Roy Andersson (1943, Sweden) becomes a major success with A Swedish Love Story in 1970. After five years, he returned with Gilliap, a film considered to be a financial and critical failure. He then turned to television commercials, where he found both popular recognition and creative freedom. In 2000, Andersson returned with his third feature, Songs from the Second Floor, which won the Jury Prize at Cannes. More than any other, this film succeeded in cementing his personal style-a style characterized by long takes, absurdist comedy, stiff caricaturing of Swedish culture and Felliniesque grotesque. His latest film is You, the Living from 2007.

【焦點導演：魯本奧斯倫 Director In Focus: Ruben Östlund】
九○年代以拍攝一系列的滑雪電影起家，之後進入哥德堡電影學院就讀。他與製片人艾瑞克哈曼多夫合開公司，展開劇情片的製作。《吉他蒙古人》是他的首部長片，在莫斯科贏得影評人獎。2009年，他再以《銀行事件》獲柏林影展短片金熊獎，最新作品《Play》入選坎城影展導演雙週。奧斯倫的影片形式很多都是一景一鏡，嚴格控制觀者的可見視域，以期開啟觀者的想像；題材上則以挖掘寫實生活、反映社會議題為主，是最被看好的瑞典電影大師接班人。
Ruben Östlund started as a director of skiing films in the 1990s, and eventually went on to study at the film school in Gothenburg. Together with film producer Erik Hemmendorff, he is the co-founder of the production company Plattform Produktion, which produces his films. Östlund's short film Incident by a Bank won the Golden Bear for Best Short Film at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival.

【對望．柏格曼 Bergman vs. Bergman】
瑞典最知名、最具作者風格的電影、劇場導演。他的名字甚至對很多人而言，即等於瑞典電影的代名詞。由於他也是台灣影迷最熟知的歐陸大師之一，所以這次我們不再依年表逐一選映，不得不放的是他的處女作《危機》與封卷之作《芬妮與亞歷山大》；至於「對望」概念，才是我們絞盡腦汁的結果。《假面》vs.《三女性》，《秋光奏鳴曲》vs.《我心深處》，似是平易版與大師版的映照，建議影迷連著看，更見其巧妙之處。《幽靈馬車》、《底層人生》是柏格曼自選的「十大影片」中，唯二的兩部瑞典同鄉作品，看得出他的品味與偏好。最後則是《柏格曼三重奏：劇場、電影、法羅島》三集合而為一的紀錄片，既有大師身影，也似夫子自道般，加速幫助影迷走進柏格曼的創作世界。
